A materials exploration using metal roofing disks. The final piece is an adjustable window shade that reflects light into a room. The shade is made up of vertical rods, each consisting of a chain of "florets" constructed out of the metal roofing disks. Each chain can be adjusted individually to open and close the florets, allowing in more or less light.
